A few nights ago Toronto was hit by a severe ice storm, leaving a majority of the city in the dark. Since my house lost power we headed to my grandparents house because they still had power. As we drove down the side streets we saw fallen tree after fallen tree. The ice on the branches was so thick and heavy that it caused several tree trunks and branches to snap in half.

I went out and took some pictures with my DSLR as soon as I got home, but some of these are from my phone when I was out and about.
